James 5:13
Anyone who is having troubles should pray. Anyone who is happy should sing praises.
Failing a Pre-Calc test, winning the big football game, losing a family member, getting married in the House of the Lord. We, as Christians, are called to pray to God at all of these times, and every time in between. The key is, God listens during all of these times. We are his children. He wants to know us more. He wants a stronger relationship with us.
“Actions in heaven begin when someone prays on earth.” -Max Lucado”
Read that line one more time and take a second to think about it. We, in the act of prayer, have the ability to set plans into action in Heaven. This is because we have a God who loves and cares for us so deeply that He listens to every word of every prayer, and knowing our hearts, listens to the things we haven’t said in prayer.
Hannah prayed for a son and God gave her Samuel. Solomon prayed for wisdom and God gave him wisdom, economic prosperity and fame. Jesus prayed that God would keep his people pure, joyous, and protected so God gave His only Son to fulfill Jesus’ prayer. What other proof do you need to know that God answers your prayers? God might answer your prayer in an unexpected way and it might not be on your time schedule, but God does answer every prayer.
