Psalm 33:21
In Him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in His holy name.
Remember that time you were on your knees in adoration of your Lord? Remember? It was probably at a church service, or maybe a retreat, or even a concert. You were so humbled by His love for you that you couldn’t help but bow down and say, “Thanks…I love you too.”
If you’re like me, you’ve probably had a few of those times in your life. Times when you felt like everything else in the world faded and the complicated issues of life were not so important. All that mattered was praising God and at that moment, He just seemed so worthy of praise. Well, my friends, He was and He is. Don’t wait until the next “awesome service” to praise Him. Don’t wait until you get that unexpected raise, or when you hear good news to say “thanks”. Praise Him right now. Praise Him!! He is worthy every second!
I know sometimes it is especially hard. It may be the loss of someone or something that makes it difficult to praise God. We must remember, however, that this life is not “it”. There’s more for the believer in Christ. So we can praise Him always.
So do it. God deserves it. He is worthy of it. We rob Him of it every day. Praise Him! He is good, He is faithful, He is always there, He is Love, His ways are higher, He knows all, He has redeemed your soul!
