Jeremiah 29:13
You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.
God seeks those who will seek Him with all their heart. Some people seek the blessings of God, but place those things before their relationship with God. These people will never find what they are looking for. Not because it doesn’t exist, but because the conditions of God’s blessings are that you seek Him first. God’s blessings don’t come to those who fail seek Him first. It’s the plain truth.
God gets into every area of our lives, nothing is held back. He gets into our conversations, our thought life, every minute of the day. It is not enough for us to seek God on Sundays, and then forget Him the rest of the week. 45 minutes on a Sunday morning is not enough time with God for you to survive the week without Him. You need to seek Him the seven days a week.
Psalm 27:4 says, “One thing I ask of the Lord, this is what I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to seek Him in his temple.” When we seek the Lord with all our heart, mind, and soul, then we shall find Him. I have learned a little saying that goes like this: Chase God, and His blessings will chase you down the street and overtake you! But chase the blessings, and you will never catch them. The conditions of God’s blessings are that we seek Him first above all else!
