I'm so glad that you put this article up here! Thank you! I am a 16 year old junior in high school, and every where I go, the world tries to pound the thought into my head that you HAVE to have someone in your life or you are just a nerd. I even know a few girls who are already ENGAGED!! In 11th GRADE!! That is crazy! I keep trying to explain to my friends how much better it would be if they would quit worrying about whether or not Jhonny likes them, and focus on the other wonderful things God has given us. <br />

You are right...engaged in 11th grade is crazy! Unless, they both feel that it is something that God has clearly led them to. Otherwise, they are robbing themselves of the fun of just being a teenager because even though teenage years can be tough, they are also wonderful! They are the time when God shapes your heart and grows you up. A time to have fun with friends, take cool summer jobs, and not worry about mortgage bills and debt! I'm glad that this article encouraged you...I am also encouraged that teenagers out there will CHOOSE to enjoy the abundant life that Jesus promised by trusting that God is working in them RIGHT NOW and that he will take care of bringing someone into their lives if it is Hill will. God knows so much better than us and he wants us to enjoy where we are at...no matter who is in our lives. Thanks for your comments and God bless you!

I too praise the Lord for those that I see who have chosen to remain pure...but let's not forget the old man/flesh that is still in us. We have to CONTINUE to fight for purity. It's not a "make a decision one time" thing...it's a constant fight, a constant battle, and it doens't stop...ever. <br />
<br />
But anyway, praise the Lord for his grace that has brought us to where we are unscathed...I pray for each of us that we would remain that way, and that the Lord would grant that to us.

I was kinda tired of hearing stuff from my college friends about impurity before marriage..I have 110 students in our class and 95% of the class had gone through immoral ways with different girls/guys..and in their eyes, i am weird..After all the frustations of my studies and exams, I was so inspired to read your article.. <br />
God Bless.'<br />

I feel led to explore a relationship with a fellow church member and we are both of a maturity level in Christ that we can handle a relationship. Although I feel the Lord leading me in that direction, the guy has not moved to begin a relationship. It is hard to be patient and wait for the Lord's plan for this aspect of my life to take effect, but it is necessary and is the only way to form a lasting relationship in Christ. Meanwhile, my goal is to grow closer to Christ to be more prepared in future relationships. This article has inspired in me the belief that waiting, in all forms, for God to bring you your mate is the only option and you must pray for patience and focus on God first, not your mate.
