This is a great article. I am doing my senior project in high school about planning and financing a missions trip on my own and how it all happens. I would love to get inn contact with someone that I could interview and stay in contact with about this subject. I go to a variety of different church functions during the week, and one of this is getting together a trip to Thailand that leaves next month. I was so excited, I’ve wanted to do missions trips for years now and have never made it out. I just found out that I’ll be in mid move during their missions trip, and there is no way I can make it. I felt so cheesed off the past few days about it when it hit me this morning, “Wait. Someone has to organize these trips. Why don’t I just organize one when I get settled into my new community?”. Thank you for the information that I needed to get started! You’ve been a blessing!
